Ready, set, go! Run for HER Life!

We are back! The Conscious Connections team is running Bloomsday on Sunday May 3 in Spokane, Washington to raise funds for Women and Girls in Nepal! Our goal is to raise $5,000. If we get 100 people to sponsor us at $50 we’ll raise it all. If we get 50 to donate $100 we’ll be there! Please help us reach our goal. EVERY DONATION COUNTS!

Through Nepali-North American partnership,  CCF invests in the power of women and girls to be key participants in their society.

CCF has A LOT going on! In 2025 we raised funds to:

• Create a NEW Nepali based, Nepali run non-profit, CCN, that can investigate, monitor and manage programs quickly and easily on the ground

• Keep 117 marginalized girls and boys in school

• Provide our first ever 4 year University scholarship to a girl child education stipend recipient

• Educate more than 1000 women in remote areas of Nepal about Menstrual hygiene and how to care for their bodies

• Sew and distribute over 1000 reusable menstrual hygiene kits to all participants in our Menstrual hygiene trainings

• Update and upgrade our Nepali centric Menstrual Hygiene Manual to include more information on menstruation, menopause and reproductive health care

• Provide supplies and training for over 1000 women to sew their own reusable menstrual pads

In 2026 we’re doing even more! 

• In March, CCF funded a second tier training in Menstrual Hygiene Education bringing together 50 women leaders from remote parts of Nepal many of whom had met in our first leadership training in 2024

• Four year-long programs, throughout Nepal that will impact almost 1200 women and girls 

• A weekly radio program on women’s health issues that will reach 10,000 people in the remote Himalayan region of Humla (where radio is vital)

• A Menstrual Hygiene learning day in Kathmandu open to all who want to learn 

Your donations make all of this possible.

And, together, we also continue to fund educational stipends for 117 marginalized girls and boys, provide need- and merit-based college scholarships for three young women, and fully support one young woman in pursuing her four-year university degree.

And, as always, we have funds for disaster relief when the need arises.

CCF is small but we are mighty and we would love your support! With the new non-profit (Conscious Connections Nepal) we have increased our capacity to impact so many and with great oversight by 2 women who have developed their leadership with support from CCF.

How does it work?

It’s easy. We’ll be running/walking on May 3 in the Bloomsday race in Spokane (Cameron and Brian are running virtually in Phoenix) with signs on our backs saying we are running for girls’ education & women’s health in Nepal. YOU donate to help us run and 100% of your donation goes to support CCF’s work in Nepal. 

$50 keeps a girl in school for 5 months, produces 6 reusable menstrual hygiene kits, or covers a woman to attend a 4-day training in menstrual hygiene.

THIS IS SOME OF THE MOST INSPIRING WORK WE SEE BEING DONE IN THIS CRAZY WORLD RIGHT NOW. It is about more than talking about menstruation, it is about helping girls and women find the confidence to do their best in the world. If you want to see incredible results, invest in this work. Our board is 100% volunteer run and is passionate and committed.
